Year 4 - Antibullying Work!
Year 4 engaged deeply with the theme of Anti-Bullying Week by designing thoughtful and impactful posters. Through class discussions, pupils explored what bullying looks like, why it’s important to speak up, and how they can help others feel included. Their posters reflect strong messages of friendship, courage, and positivity, and the children were eager to share their ideas with the wider school community.
Year 3 - Pen pal Letters!
Bonjour, the first set of pen pal letters by Year 3 have been posted! This half-term marks the beginning of a pen pal project that our Year 3 class have been involved in. We have twinned with a Year 3 class from an Islamic school in Northern France to begin this exciting pen pal project. From BHA and across the English Channel, both classes have been busy drafting and editing their letters packed with information and questions ready to be received by the recipients from the other school. Now we can't wait to update you all once we receive our first pen pal letters from the French school.
Nursery - Learning about Anti-Bullying!
Our Nursery children embraced Anti-Bullying Week by designing their very own odd socks using bright colours and patterns. The activity helped the children express their individuality while learning that our differences make us unique and special. They had great fun exploring colours, shapes, and textures, and their cheerful sock designs have brought lots of smiles to our classrooms.
Amazing Anti-Bullying Posters!
Across the school, pupils have been busy creating eye-catching posters to promote the message of kindness and standing up against bullying. The children worked thoughtfully, using words and images to express how we can all help make our school a safe and welcoming place. These posters will be displayed around the building to remind everyone of the importance of looking out for one another.
