Barnet Hill Academy is a mixed, faith school at the primary stage (5-11), with an attached Nursery (EYFS) for students aged 3-5 years, situated in Hendon, London Borough of Barnet. The school has approximately 160 students between the ages of 3 - 11. The Academy aims for its students to achieve their potential in a welcoming and inspiring learning environment. Barnet Hill Nursery is looking for passionate childcare qualified individuals to join our team for January, 2021.

Barnet Hill Academy is looking to appoint a Nursery Lead Practitioner / Manager. This is a new role and the holder will be pioneering significant changes to Early Years provision at Barnet Hill, by developing and implementing a strategy to create a unique nursery experience for children from 3 years old through best in class provisions.

We are looking for someone who has:
• A relevant Early Years qualification, minimum Level 3 or above or QTS
• Minimum 5 years post qualification experience within a childcare setting
• Experience of working in a management or leadership role
• A passion for play, inquiry-led learning and outdoor learning
• Flexibility and adaptability
• Culturally aware and an empathy for Islamic values

We are looking for practitioners who will:

• assist to maintain a safe, stimulating and enjoyable environment
• contribute to curriculum planning
• work cooperatively with all team members

You will join a high performing Academy that offers a strong curriculum delivered by outstanding staff with a passion for Teaching and Learning at its core.
