A Fantastic Robotics Workshop!
This week, our children enjoyed an exciting hands-on Coding Workshop where they built and programmed their own robots, working in teams to design, code and complete challenges. Alongside having great fun, they developed key skills in problem-solving, teamwork, logical reasoning and persistence. These valuable early experiences in computational thinking are helping to build strong foundations for future success in our ever-evolving digital world.
Choir Performs at MDX Iftar!
Our school choir had the honour of performing at the Iftar event hosted by Middlesex University. The children sang beautifully and represented the school with confidence and pride. We were delighted to receive extremely positive feedback from guests, speakers, members of the University Executive Team, as well as Councillors and council officers who were present. It was a wonderful opportunity to take part in such a special community celebration during Ramadhan.
Year 5 & 6 Road Safety Workshop!
Year 5 and Year 6 took part in an engaging Road Safety Riot Act workshop this week. The session helped pupils understand the importance of staying safe near roads, recognising potential dangers, and making responsible choices as pedestrians and future cyclists. Through interactive activities and discussions, the children developed greater awareness of how to keep themselves and others safe.
Reception visit the Library
Reception enjoyed a visit to a local library, where they explored a range of exciting books and listened to a story. The children learned how a library works, how to choose books carefully, and the importance of looking after them. They were enthusiastic and curious, asking questions and sharing their favourite stories. It was a wonderful experience that helped nurture their love of reading and build confidence in a new community setting.
