Year 3 - Science Experiment!
Year 3 scientists carried out an exciting investigation to answer the question: Does hand span affect grip strength? The children measured the distance between their thumb and little finger when their hand was fully stretched and then tested their grip strength. They carefully recorded and analysed their results, discussing whether a larger hand span led to a stronger grip. The investigation helped pupils develop their scientific enquiry skills while encouraging them to make predictions, collect evidence and draw conclusions from their findings.
2026 Eid Fair!
Our Eid Fair was a wonderful success and a fantastic opportunity for our school community to come together in celebration. Families, staff and pupils enjoyed a variety of activities, games and refreshments, creating a joyful atmosphere throughout the event. We would like to thank everyone who attended, volunteered and contributed to making the fair such a memorable occasion. The support and generosity shown by our school community were greatly appreciated.
Swimming Lessons!
Swimming lessons have now started for our Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 pupils, and they have made a fantastic beginning. Not only are they developing an essential life skill, but they are also building confidence, resilience and teamwork through their sessions in the pool. We are very proud of the positive attitudes and determination they have shown.
Reception - Hajj Projects!
Over the half-term break, our Reception children created some truly impressive Hajj projects. Their hard work, creativity and attention to detail have resulted in a beautiful display that can now be seen around the school. We would like to thank both the children and their families for the effort they put into these wonderful pieces of work.
