Year 5 - A Water Resistance Experiment!

Our budding scientists over in Year 5 conducted an investigation of their own this week, in which they tested their boats for water resistance. Not only did our students orchestrate the experiment, but they also evaluated its success. Evaluations are key during scientific experiments, and an integral part of making and recording discoveries, and it's great to see our students implementing the skill in their lessons!

Whizzing Through A Fitness Circuit!

In preparation for the Charity Fitness Event, our students experienced an enjoyable circuit where they circled through a rotary of different activities such as skipping, jumping across beams, running and more! These games encouraged our students to enhance their teamwork skills, their physical prowess and agility, and also provided a boost of confidence! And we commend our students for taking up the challenge this week and for participating at such a high degree.

Lunch with the Governors!

Our Student Council members thoroughly enjoyed dining with the school governors this Thursday, as they were given the opportunity to discuss matters relating to the school and the student body in an informal setting, while also munching on delicious food! Through activities like these, we aim to bridge the gap between students and faculty, creating a safe space for opinions and ideas to be shared.

Year 1 - Making Toys out of Lego!

Did you know that the first toy ever made was ... (drum roll) ... the spinning top? The first spinning top ever found is believed to be around 6000 years old and was discovered atop King Tut's tomb. Our students in Year 1 have traversed the timeline of toys, discovering their history, and this week they used Lego to construct their very own toys! And the imaginative final products our students manufactured are absolutely fantastic!
