Year 3 - Poetry!

We love poetry and creative writing here at BHA, and so many of our students are exceptional writers! This week, our Year 3 students typed up poems based on their current read in English, The Iron Man, and they managed to weave in so much mystery and suspense into each verse! Not only did our Year 3 students exercise their creative writing skills, but their ICT knowledge was also put to the test during this cross-curricular lesson, in which they also explored different fonts and layouts on Microsoft Word!

From ideas to physical designs, we think our Year 1 class has done a great job in bringing the toys of their imaginations to life! They're colourful, creative, and manage to perfectly encapsulate our students' originality. We'd definitely love to play with these fun toys manufactured by some of BHA's youngest students!

Year 6 - Our Trip to the Parliament!

Have you ever wondered what actually goes on in the House of Commons and the House of Lords? Or perhaps you've been curious about how laws are passed, or how our country is governed? Well, our Year 6 class have got you covered! This week, our oldest students took a trip down to the Parliament building where they visited the House of Commons, the House of Lords, Westminster Hall and Victoria Tower. They had the great opportunity to build their political knowledge and develop their debating skills during a bespoke workshop. Our students were also able to dissect the roles and responsibilities of an MP (there are about 650 of them in total!) and even had a great Q&A session!
