Year 2 - Weaving our own Tapestries!

Tapestries are some of history's most infamous archival records, not to mention a staple of modern art and some authentic tapestries are worth thousands of pounds! Our Year 2 students tapped into this wealth of history as they constructed their own tapestries based off of the information acquired in their lessons!

Year 6 - Chilly Frozen Kingdom Displays!

Our Year 6's fabulous Arctic and Antarctic displays, as part of their new topic 'Frozen Kingdoms', are an absolute delight! These miniature versions of snowy plains and freezing habitats evoke the feeling of shrugging on a winter coat, and through the use of different mediums such as card, Lego, and more, our students' hard work and effort is prevalent in their immersive projects.

Year 1 - Writing About and Illustrating our Toys!

We've definitely got some prolific writers and artists in our Year 1 class, and this week our students were eager to share their written paragraphs about their favourite toys: sparkling fairies, heroic action figures and stuffed animals with hidden powers. The creativity and imagination of our students shines through the work they've completed!

Year 5 - A Water Resistance Experiment!

Our budding scientists over in Year 5 conducted an investigation of their own this week, in which they tested their boats for water resistance. Not only did our students orchestrate the experiment, but they also evaluated its success. Evaluations are key during scientific experiments, and an integral part of making and recording discoveries, and it's great to see our students implementing the skill in their lessons!
