Reception Inspired by Handa’s Surprise!

Continuing their learning with the story Handa’s Surprise, Reception explored water painting and created their own fruit artworks inspired by the book. The children enjoyed experimenting with colours and techniques, showing great creativity—perhaps we have some future Picassos in the making!

Nursery Design Eid Cards!

The Nursery was full of excitement as the children designed beautiful Eid cards using a range of bright colours, glitter and craft materials. They explored different textures, practised their cutting and sticking skills, and let their creativity shine through their unique designs. As they worked, the children also learned about the joy of Eid, sharing ideas and talking about celebrations, making the experience both fun and meaningful.

KS1 Road Safety Workshop!

KS1 children took part in an engaging road safety workshop, featuring the memorable Don’t Get Squished, Muffin! demonstration. This impactful activity helped pupils understand the dangers of traffic and the importance of staying safe near roads. Through discussion and visual examples, the children learned how to make safe choices as pedestrians and how to keep themselves safe.

Reception enjoyed tasting a variety of fruits inspired by the story Handa’s Surprise. The children explored different flavours and textures while discussing their favourite fruits from the story. It was a fun and engaging way to bring the book to life and encourage curiosity about new foods.
