Reception - RAF Museum
Reception had an exciting adventure this week with a trip to the RAF Museum! The children were amazed by the incredible planes on display—some were huge, and others had fascinating shapes and colours. They loved exploring the different exhibits and learning about how planes fly. It was a fun-filled day full of curiosity, wonder, and wide-eyed excitement!
Nursery - Walking Bear Activity!
This term, our children have been taking part in the Walking Bear family activity—a fun and meaningful way to learn about road safety and reflect on how we travel to school. Each weekend, a child takes home the Walking Bear family and records their journey in a special journal, either through pictures or writing. Back in class, they proudly share their adventures with their friends, helping everyone think about safe and healthy ways to travel. It's been wonderful to see their creativity and awareness grow with each story shared!
Year 6 - SATs Party!
After a busy few weeks of hard work and focus during their SATs, Year 6 were all smiles as they celebrated at their SATs party! It was a well-deserved day of fun, laughter, and making memories together as they begin to look ahead to their next exciting chapter.
Year 1 - Mindful Breathing!
As part of Mental Health Awareness Week, Year 1 took part in mindful breathing exercises to help them feel calm and focused. The children learned how to take slow, deep breaths and noticed how it helped their bodies and minds feel more relaxed. It was a simple but powerful way to introduce them to looking after their wellbeing.
