Year 2 - Fire Safety Visit!
Year 2 had an exciting and informative visit from the local fire service this week! The firefighters spoke about how to stay safe in an emergency and even showed the children their protective gear and equipment. Everyone listened carefully and asked brilliant questions — a truly memorable and important lesson!
Welcoming Teachers from Thailand!
This week, we were delighted to welcome a group of teachers visiting from Thailand! They spent time in our classrooms, observing lessons and sharing insights about education in their country. It was a fantastic cultural exchange, and our pupils loved meeting them and learning a few fun Thai words and traditions!
Year 6 - Black History Month / John Blanke
As part of Black History Month, Year 6 have been learning about John Blanke, the talented Black trumpeter who played for King Henry VIII. Pupils were fascinated to discover his story and discuss the importance of representation in history, celebrating his role in Tudor England.
Reception - A Visit from a Doctor!
We were very lucky to have a special visit from a doctor in Reception! The children loved learning about how doctors help people stay healthy, exploring real medical equipment, and asking brilliant questions about the human body and caring for others.
