An Exciting Tennis Lesson!
Sports has always been an emphasised activity at school, and here at BHA we take pride in our extensive athletic curriculum. Taking advantage of the outdoors, Coach has been putting our students through great sports training, instilling not only athletic prowess but qualities of confidence and cooperation within our students too! And judging by the smiling faces, it's safe to say that our students look forward to their P.E. lessons each week!
Year 2 - Learning about Coasts!
This week, our Year 2 students have been exploring coasts and they've participated in so many activities that have taken them down to the depths of the ocean, as well as to the sandy plains of distant beaches. While immersing themselves in this topic, our students also produced some fantastic coast replicas over the holidays, made out of an array of different materials! The creativity of our Year 2 students shines through in their projects, and we commend them for their effort! Our Year 2 class also had a go writing a class poem, where they contributed a verse each, all about exploring the ocean!
BHA Muslim Youth Performance:
Our first ever BHA Muslim Youth Performance was an absolutely phenomenal success; it was wonderful to see the hard work of all our students and staff members come to fruition in a collection of amazing performances. Not only did each class sing a beautiful nasheed - each representing something meaningful in Islam - but we also had a group of very talented actors star in the play 'When the Clock Strikes Eid', telling the story of grumpy Grandpa Hamza as he begins to realise the joys of the special occasion over the course of the night before Eid. We also unveiled our very own BHA anthem, which our students co-wrote with HalalBeats! Overall, it was a fabulous performance from all, and it was great to see our students engage with the arts in a brand new, versatile way, allowing them to showcase all the amazing talent that our school has to offer. A big thank you goes out to our parent volunteers for supporting us on the day, as well as to our teachers and all staff members for making all of this possible! We hope to engage in bigger, and better, things in the future InshaAllah.

#behindthescenes of our Muslim Youth Performance!
Preparations are underway as we count down to our first ever Muslim Youth Event - held at artsdepot theatre - and we're so excited to share some exclusive behind the scenes snippets for you all to enjoy.
