STEM Week!
STEM Week was an exciting and inspiring time across the school, filled with hands-on activities and creative challenges in science, technology, engineering, and maths. From building structures and exploring chemical reactions to problem-solving tasks and real-world investigations, students were fully engaged and curious throughout. It was a fantastic opportunity to spark imagination, encourage teamwork, and show how STEM shapes the world around us.
Year 2 - Making Pizzas!
Year 2 enjoyed a delicious and creative activity making their own pizzas. They learned about measuring ingredients and following steps, while having fun choosing their favorite toppings. It was a tasty way to explore teamwork and practical skills!
Year 2 - Trip to Inflata Nation!
Year 2 had an action-packed day of fun and excitement on their trip to Inflata Nation! The children bounced, climbed, and slid their way through a world of inflatable adventure, enjoying everything from giant slides and ball pools to obstacle courses and bouncy zones. Laughter filled the air as they explored every corner of the inflatable park, building confidence, coordination, and lots of happy memories along the way. It was a well-deserved treat and a fantastic way to celebrate all their hard work this term!
Reception - Making Smoothies!
Reception had a deliciously fun and educational experience this week as they made their own smoothies! This hands-on activity was a fantastic way to develop fine motor skills through chopping, pouring, and blending. It also reinforced early Maths concepts, such as counting fruit pieces, measuring ingredients, and comparing quantities. Most importantly, it sparked great conversations about healthy eating, as children explored the taste, texture, and benefits of fresh fruits. A perfect blend of learning and nutrition — and the best part? They got to drink their creations too!
