Student Council Elections!
This week, our school was full of excitement as students participated in Student Council elections! Candidates worked hard to prepare their speeches and share their ideas for making our school an even better place. We are so proud of all the students who demonstrated leadership, courage, and school spirit throughout the process. Elections gave everyone the chance to practice the importance of voting, using their voices, and supporting their classmates. We can't wait to share who our newly-elected Student Council members are!
Year 6 - Blitz Art!
Our Year 6 students have been diving into history through creativity by making their own Blitz-inspired artwork. Using bold colors, dramatic silhouettes, and striking cityscapes, they recreated scenes from World War II that captured both the power and resilience of the time. The children explored how art can tell a story, express emotions, and bring the past to life. We were so impressed by their thoughtful interpretations and the care they put into every detail—truly a powerful blend of history and imagination!
Year 2 - Maths Lesson!
Our Year 2 students have been busy strengthening their number skills this week by learning how to partition numbers into tens and ones. Using hands-on activities and visual models, the children explored how numbers can be broken down to make them easier to understand and work with. They enjoyed building numbers with base-ten blocks, practicing place value strategies, and sharing their thinking with classmates. This activity not only boosted their confidence in Maths but also laid a strong foundation for future problem-solving!
Nursery -
Our Nursery students had such a wonderful time sharing “All About Me” with their classmates! Each child proudly shared special facts about themselves—like their favorite color, food, or toy. The children loved exploring one another’s work, learning what makes each friend unique, and celebrating the things that make them special. It was a joyful way to build confidence, practice self-expression, and strengthen our classroom community!
