Year 3 - Making Cave Walls!
In art, Year 3 took inspiration from the Stone Age and created their very own “cave walls.” Using textured materials and earthy tones, they explored how early humans told stories through pictures — turning the classroom into a prehistoric art gallery!
Year 3 - Tasty Treats!
Year 3 combined creativity and learning as they made chocolate apples this week! This fun activity supported their English lessons on instructional writing, giving pupils the chance to put their skills into practice — writing clear, step-by-step guides while enjoying a sweet reward for their efforts.
Reception - Making Pizzas!
Our Reception children had a wonderful time making their very own pizzas this week! As part of their learning about instructions, they carefully followed each step — from spreading the sauce to sprinkling the cheese — and discovered how important it is to listen, sequence, and follow directions. The best part, of course, was enjoying their delicious creations!
Year 6 - Visiting the RAF Museum!
Year 6 enjoyed a fascinating visit to the RAF Museum this week, where they explored the history of flight and discovered the important role the Royal Air Force has played over time. The children were excited to see real aircraft up close, experience a wartime classroom and to learn about the experiences of pilots and engineers during different periods of history. The trip not only enriched their understanding of World War II and beyond, but also inspired curiosity about science, engineering, and the bravery of those who served.
