Nursery Explores Ice!
Nursery children enjoyed an ice exploration activity where they observed how ice forms and changes. They investigated different ways to melt ice, including using salt, warm water, and their hands, and watched carefully as it turned back into water. This hands-on experience helped them understand how temperature affects ice and water, while encouraging curiosity, prediction, and early scientific thinking.
Year 4 - Making Book Sleeves!
Year 4 have been busy designing and making creative book sleeves, which were displayed in the art gallery. These thoughtful and colourful designs really showcased both their artistic skills and their love of reading!
Year 6 - Going to Parliament!
Year 6 had an exciting and informative trip to Parliament, where they learned about how laws are made and how our democracy works. The children were excellent ambassadors for the school and asked thoughtful questions that reflected their learning in class.
Year 5 - Trip to the Apple Store!
Year 5 recently enjoyed an exciting and creative trip to the Apple Store, where they took part in an iMovie-making workshop. Pupils learned how to plan, film, and edit their own short movies using professional tools, developing valuable skills in teamwork, digital creativity, and communication. They were highly engaged throughout the session and impressed staff with their enthusiasm, confidence, and excellent behaviour. It was a fantastic hands-on experience that brought learning to life and inspired many budding filmmakers!
