Planting Lessons!
All of our students across the school have been absolutely loving their recent planting lessons, where they've looked at the method of growing different flowers and vegetables, and even had a go at planting some of their own in our Peace Garden!
Year 1 - DT Fun!
We got creative in Year 1 where we learned all about linking fabrics and materials together in DT lessons! Our students explored using a variety of materials, such as staplers, to connect fabrics together. We think they did a fabulous job!
Reception - Visiting the Library!
Our Reception students thoroughly enjoyed their trip to the local library where they participated in a fun workshop, listened to different stories and were even able to pick out their own books to read! This was such a fun trip for our students to understand the roles of a library, what librarians do, and experience the imaginative nature of reading books and storytelling!
Year 2 - Learning about the Atlas!
Our Year 2 students travelled all around the globe while never having to leave their classroom! They enjoyed looking at different countries both on a globe and on the pages of an atlas, and it was an excellent way of exploring different cultures and communities!
