Year 5 - Nature Sketches!
The art streak continues throughout our Key Stage 2 building, where we stepped into our Year 5 classroom; the students were hard at work, beginning their hyper-realistic etchings of leaves. Fuelled by concentration, our Year 5 class busied themselves with the mindful sketches. And while we're on the topic of leaves, did you know that, depending on the tree, a leaf can live from anywhere between a few months to 20 years!
Year 4 - Our Holiday Projects!
It seems as if the creative streak has been running through our school this, because it was a pleasure to see our Year 4 students' fantastic holiday work; from a 3D model all about pyramids and the River Nile, to an intricately-designed poster labelling all the different features of a river, it's clear that our Year 4 students put a lot of effort into their work!
EYFS - A Picnic in the Sunshine!
Both our Nursery and Reception classes soaked up the sunshine as they took their snacks out into the garden; healthy eating has always been a key staple here at BHA, and it was fantastic to see our youngest pupils enjoying their fruits and other healthy snacks with their friends!
Year 3 - Mouthwatering Menus!
One of our Year 3 class's homework assignments was designing their very own healthy menu; our students came up with many creative dishes that fit the brief, including smoothies and fruit salads, and they enjoyed laying out their selected dishes in an exciting way, complete with diagrams and lots of colour!
