As part of this term's topic, A Child's War, year 6 took part in a virtual workshop delivered by the RAF Museum, London. They heard from an Air Raid Warden at the height of the Blitz in 1940, during the Second World War, and learnt how to stay safe during raids. Following on, they were able to join in for a live interactive session to find out more about the Home Front in the Second World War, whilst investigating some mystery artefacts. At the end of the session, the class were also given the opportunity to send in questions and answers to our museum host. Overall, it was an enjoyable and very informative online session for the class.
