Year 5 visited the Natural History Museum. They worked in pairs to design and build a LEGO Martian rover. They then coded, tested and evaluated their designs. After receiving missions from the scientists at the Museum, they had to decide what their rover should investigate and then build appropriate tools for the challenge. In a final challenge, pupils saw how their rovers performed on a large-scale realistic Martian surface.
