Year 5 enjoyed a fascinating visit to the historic Charterhouse in Farringdon, a site with a history dating back to the 14th century! Originally a medieval monastery, the Charterhouse later became a grand Tudor mansion before being transformed into a school and almshouse in 1611. The children had the opportunity to explore this remarkable piece of history and discover more about how the site has changed over the centuries. It was a wonderful opportunity to bring the past to life and deepen their appreciation of Britain's rich historical heritage!
