The imaginations of our Year 5 pupils have certainly been working overtime this week! They have been writing their own spooky stories, carefully creating eerie settings to build suspense and keep their readers on the edge of their seats. From mysterious surroundings to unsettling descriptions, the children have been exploring how descriptive language can bring a setting to life and create a particular atmosphere.
