Year 5 have been exploring the wonderful world of colour by experimenting with tints and shades. The children investigated how adding white or black can transform a colour, creating lighter and darker variations. They enjoyed experimenting with different combinations and developing their understanding of how colour can be used to create depth, contrast and mood in artwork.
