Year 5 have been exploring African art and design as part of their Black History Month learning. The children investigated the vibrant patterns, colours and designs found in different African artistic traditions before creating their own unique designs inspired by what they had discovered. They will use these designs to decorate their African-inspired masks, combining their research with their own creativity. We look forward to seeing their finished pieces and celebrating the wonderful ideas they bring to life!
